Preparations ongoing...

Reading up on Somaliland is a time consuming Task; there is soooo much Information available on the Internet. And if I want to understand Somaliland I have to read up on Somalia too. What I'm most delighted about is that the weather in Hargeisa is not far from the weather we have right now. So, not 40+ degrees but around 32 or 33 and a humidity around 45%. That's absolutely agreeable!

I have brought my camera Equipment up-to-date, got a new stativ, enough Memory space to last for a life-time and am making lists of things to pack. Of course I will have to cross half of the stuff off the list again cause no suitcase is large enough for all that stuff.

In short; I'm starting to get excited!

And that's when it happend. Yesterday's visit at the doctors Office confirmed that I had injured the miniscus. I'm scheduled for an MRI on July 1st and then we will see what can be done to minimize the pain. Fact is, I will be taking this exact knee to Hargeisa with me, come what may! Once I'm back I will take care of it properly.

Other than that, everything is fine. Flights are booked, our one day/two night stay in Dubai is organised with Yasser, the man. Looking Forward to a few good and heated discussions with him.
